My Approach

Most of our wounding is experienced in relationship,
and so our healing must be also.

Something is bringing you to this work. Perhaps it’s a challenge or struggle, or a longing for a change or shift. Perhaps the need to reach out now is stark and clear, or a response to your sense that something isn’t working. 

I’ll join you on your path, and walk with you. I’ll mirror whatever hopes you bring here, as we work intuitively and collaboratively. Our sessions will include talk, but will transcend traditional talk therapy, including meditation, therapeutic exercises, imaginal visualization, light movement, role play, and offering or uncovering insights that allow for the possibility of your development.

What your unique life and trauma have served to split off, disavow in you, or disconnect you from, therapy can serve to help reintegrate, reconnect, and heal. Any hidden, protected parts can be welcomed to come forth again. Certain defenses, and coping strategies may have served you at one time, but are getting in the way or causing suffering now.

Your fullness is able to be held and come forth in a safe, collaborative home base that can lead to an unfolding of your essential self.

Through relational, somatic, analytic, and mindfulness therapies, we’ll inquire into and respond to your sensations, thoughts, feelings, stories, and relationships. Building awareness, acceptance, and possible choices that are more aligned to you. We’ll move at a pace that is right for you. Balancing a caring and challenging relationship, or your comfort and relief, with your growing edges.

What is spirit? It means different things to different people. It can be a force that can allow you to feel most fully alive, or connects you to a deeper sense of purpose.

This process can lead to relief, grounding, clarity, aliveness, and perhaps even thriving.
